Surrounding Streams

The Streams provide the perfect home for the Pisces. This is where the amphibious wolves it provides enough water for them to sustain themselves, as well as land and shelter for them to rest and raise their young. The streams are well hidden to the other clans and this allows the pisces to live in peace.

An eagle swooped low to the river to pluck a fish from the rushing waters, letting out a shrill cry as it did so. The sable wolf sitting on the bank started at the sound as he was pulled from his musings. He blinked his bright blue eyes to clear the momentary haze that had fallen over his mind. It took a violent shake of his head to clear the images of her from his consciousness. It's been ten years....to the day... Erasmus tossed his head again with an exasperated huff. He couldn't go through it again; he couldn't see her face, hear her voice, and know it was all in his head. Did she mourn? Did she wonder? His own mind seemed to have betrayed him.

With a deep sigh, the wolf raised his nose skyward and let his eyes slip closed. He took a breath of air, let it out slowly, savoring the scents and flavors. Something's new... Another intake confirmed his thoughts. With another sigh, Erasmus heaved himself to his webbed feet and slipped into the water. He could swim most of the way to the Run-Through. He gave a powerful kick of his hind paws and soon, he was gliding through the stream like a bird through air. I'm sorry, Penelope.
